Dutch case study

An extensive on-site investigation works on the Dutch case study, on the section Oud-IJsselmonde – Oostendam were conducted in August 2021. The investigations included combination of two geophysical methods of Electrical resistivity tomography (ERT) and Multi-channel Analysis of Surface Waves (MASW), along with detailed drone data acquisition to obtain the 3D point clould of the embankment. Investigations were conducted by the Department of Geotechnics, Faculty of Civil Engineering from Zagreb, while the partners from InGEO and Veiligheidsregio Zuid-Holland Zuid (VRZHZ) were also present on the site!

Meeting in Delft

We had very fruitful meeting and interesting discussion during the 4th consortium meeting in Delft, Netherlands. Consortium members, along with representatives of Dutch Waterboard, visited also Oostmolendijk as a case study embankment!
